Longtime business owners in Morganton are now retired. After 40 years, Mike and Tim Buff of Buff’s Tire retired Friday. The name Buff Tire will stay as the business moves to the Express Lube location near Rural King. Scott Carlton of Express will also retire. The new business owner is Gregg McCabe, according to the News Herald.
