Thomas Jorell Howell of Lenoir was arrested after the Lenoir Police Department’s narcotics unit and special response team found 10 ounces of high grade marijuana and almost 14 grams of cocaine in his apartment. The drugs seized were worth almost $4,000. Police also found two handguns and an AK-47 in the apartment. Howell had been under investigation for three months after community members reported suspicions that he was selling drugs from his home. Howell’s bond was set at $10,000.
