A Hudson man was taken to jail three hours after posting bail on Monday. According to the Lenoir News Topic an officer tried to pull over Triston Jay Gibson after running his plate when a chase ensued. Gibson sped toward Burke County driving more than 100 mph and was eventually apprehended in Morganton. He was charged with felony speeding to elude arrest and has a bond set at $40,000.
