Man Sets House on Fire with Himself and Family Inside

A man set his house on fire with his wife, five children and himself inside on Wednesday afternoon. According to the Morganton News Herald, Floyd Elmer Tate was taken into custody and charges are pending. When deputies arrived to the scene the home was not on fire and all of the children were outside. No one was injured in the incident.
