A Cajah’s Mountain woman has been charged with murder. Erica Sierra Haas was arrested by Lenoir Police on Friday with a bond set at $500,000. According to the Lenoir News Topic police have not released any further information about the case.

Erica Sierra Haas was accused of supplying Hanna Marie Kincaid with the fentanyl, which lead to Kincaid’s death in May. According to the Lenoir News Topic this is the first time the Lenoir Police Department has had the evidence to charge someone with murder in an overdose case. Haas is being charged with second degree murder and could be sentenced to around 44 years in prison.
