Burke County Man Fights Off Robbers at ATM

A Burke County man fought off two armed robbers at an ATM early Friday morning. Two men approached another man as he deposited cash at the Cash Points machine on West Fleming Drive in Morganton. The News Herald reports one suspected pulled a knife but the victim was able to fight off both suspects without injury.
