Restraining Order Derails Skills Game Crackdown

A restraining order granted against the Hickory and Conover police departments has derailed the crackdown on skills games in the area. The Daily record reports before the ruling the two departments had sent letters to businesses to make sure they are complying with state laws against slot machines or their property could be seized and eventually forfeited.
