A letter was sent from an inmate threatening three Alexander County Schools. The letter was received on Friday and threatened to blow up the three schools near the prison. WSOCTV reports security has been increased around schools in the area, but at this point, there is no indication which schools may be involved. The State Bureau of Investigation has been brought in to help with the investigation.
