A man is in custody after a high-speed chase that started in Caldwell county and ended with a crash in Morganton yesterday afternoon. Christopher Cabinet was driving a stolen vehicle with a stolen weapon inside and didn’t stop when an officer pulled behind him and tried to pull him over due to being afraid of outstanding warrants. The News Topic reports Cabinet is currently being held on a $15,000 bond
