The Former Director of the Friends for Animals Human Society in Burke County will spend six years in federal prison after pleading guilty in a drug case. Teddi Stamey was sentenced on one count of conspiracy to distribute and the possession with intent to distribute Methamphetamine. The News Herald reports Stamey will be held at the Mecklenburg County Jail.
