A U-Haul pickup truck driver died in an accident in Alexander County yesterday morning. The wreck happened around 5 a.m. on Willie McLeod Road just west of Taylorsville. WSOCTV reports Travis Bennett ran off the road and overcorrected into a tree. Bennett was the only person in the vehicle.
