The Lenoir News-Topic reports retail stores and offices may be built in front of the new Hampton Inn and Suites hotel in Lenoir in the next year. The three buildings, one with five office and retail spaces, one with three, and one with a single large space, will face each other across Market Street, the name of the new street leading from Wilkesboro Boulevard to the new hotel, which opened March 29.Overall, the project will cost about $5 million and construction may be complete as soon as next spring.
