A Conover man was arrested and charged in connection to a breaking and entering Bethlehem last week. A witness observed someone climbing through a window of a house off Icard Ridge Road and a dark-colored four-door car with a roof rack parked in the carport. The Hickory Daily Record reports Aleck Beard was arrested after Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers spotted the vehicle and pulled it over.
