Valdese man admits to killing girlfriend

A Valdese man admitted to shooting and killing his ex-girlfriend in Burke County on Monday night. The News Herald reports Jeremy Baldridge was arrested in connection to the murder of  Caitlyn Truax on McDuffy Road in Connelly Springs. His first court appearance set for Wednesday.
