On Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at approximately 6:30 p.m., Hickory Police responded to Hamrick’s located at 1842 Hwy 70 SE reference an armed robbery. During the robbery, the suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun and obtained money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the property on foot traveling west.
The suspect is described as a Black male, 6’ tall, wearing all black clothing to include a black ski mask.
