A win by the Lenoir Rhyne football team over the weekends sends the team from the sweet 16 to the elite 8 in the NCAA playoffs. Lenoir Rhyne beat Carson Newman on Saturday 49 to 12. The Bears will host West Florida this Saturday in the NCAA Division II national quarterfinals.
