A Hickory man was given an active prison sentence of six to nine years following his conviction for multiple crimes during Catawba County Superior Court on Monday.
Renous Alan Hughes, pleaded guilty to flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, larceny of a motor vehicle, felony larceny and admitted his status as a habitual felon.
The offenses occurred in July 2017 and July 2018 in both Catawba and Caldwell counties.
