Caldwell County Schools Expands Telemedicine program

Caldwell County Schools Superintendent Donald Phipps recently announced that Nine Caldwell County schools will use telemedicine technology to boost health and student performance in an expansion of the  Health-e-Schools Telemedicine Program.   The innovative project will begin its pilot phase today at Hudson Elementary, Hudson Middle, West Lenoir Elementary, Gamewell Middle, Gateway, Granite Falls Elementary, Granite Falls Middle, Horizons, and Gamewell Elementary Schools. Health-e-Schools is a group that encompasses school districts in five western and two far eastern rural North Carolina counties and is a division of the Center for Rural Health Innovation.
