Responsibilities include:
• Working with an assigned account list to cultivate ongoing, professional client relationships
• Prospecting and developing sales with new customers
• Taking a marketing approach to sales
• Executing a solution-based selling process
• Creating successful advertising programs
• Presenting solutions effectively to clients
Qualifications:
• Minimum three years sales experience with proven track record; experience in broadcast/radio, cable, and/or digital advertising sales/support strongly preferred
• Active listening, strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking (critical for this position)
• College degree preferred; BS/BA degree in related field of study such as Advertising/Marketing, Business, and/or Communications strongly preferred
• Ability to take direction, meet multiple deadlines and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, team environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM such as Salesforce or Efficio
• Base knowledge of local media formats and strategic advertising offerings
• Reliable transportation, working laptop and mobile phone
• Professional demeanor and appearance
