A Lenoir woman escaped a burning home Tuesday thanks to help from a neighbor who rushed to help get her out. The fire happened on Swanson Drive SW Fire investigators believe the blaze started in the living room and may have been sparked by a heater too close to combustible materials. Three people reportedly lived in the home but only one was home at the time. Unfortunately, two dogs that were inside did not survive.
