One person was killed in a fiery crash Tuesday morning on Sulpher springs road near Hickory. Police say 34 year old Devin Jarrel McCorkle of Hickory crossed the center line and stuck another car head on. McCorkles car burst into flames and witnesses tried to rescue him but said the flames were too intense. The driver of the other car, was transported to Catawba Valley Medical Center.
