NC saw its biggest one day jump in the number of coronavirus cases Tuesday since the pandemic began. On Tuesday, North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is reporting 9,568 cases of COVID-19 in 96 counties. That is up 426 from Monday.
Catawba County Public Health reported one new case of COVID-19 Tuesday (April 28) increasing the county’s total to 54. Seven new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed Tuesday in Burke County, increasing that county’s total to at 97 positive cases. Catawba County remained at 33.
