Two people were shot and killed Sunday night outside a Hickory convenience store. The murders happened outside the Save More Store on 1st Ave, SW. According to witnesses, a black male wearing a gray hooded jacket and black pants walked up to a car that was in the parking lot and fired several shots into the car where the two men were sitting. The shooter then fled on foot running south toward 2nd Avenue SW. The two victims were identified ad 20 year old Xzavion Rashawn Watts and 16 year old Damarion Isiah Sharpe. Police believe the suspect knew the victims and this was a targeted crime.
