Burke County added 136 new Coronavirus cases Monday. It is the highest one day increase since the pandemic began. Health officials say the high increase is due in large part to continuing to increase testing among companies and individuals. Everyone needs to remember that the more testing that continues to happen, the more positives will increase. Also the more that people continue to get out in the community, gathering with others within the community at parties, church gatherings, family reunions, etc and do not follow the 3 W’s or stay at home more often, the numbers will continue to increase.
