One person was killed in a head on crash in Catawba County on Friday. The accident happened on Startown Road near Maiden.
The driver of one of the vehicles, 54 year old Michael Todd Saine of Maiden was killed and the driver of the other vehicle suffered serious injuries. The NC Highway Patrol is investigating.
