A total of nine COVID-19 cases were reported today in Caldwell County from Sunday to Monday.
40 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed Monday in Catawba County.
Burke County did not report numbers over the holiday weekend, but on Monday showed an increase of 19 positive patients since its last report on July 3rd.
The NC Department of Health and Human Services on Monday reported another record-high in hospitalizations with 982 people currently hospitalized due to complications associated with COVID-19. Two more deaths were reported in the state, bringing the total to 1,398 so far in the pandemic.
