One suspect is in custody from the August 3rd shooting incident that occurred at 1725 13th Ave DR NW injuring two.
Anton Delrico Harris, B/M/25 was arrested by Gastonia Police Department on a warrant for Possession of Firearm by Felon. Harris being transported to Catawba County Detention Facility and will be held on a $75,000 secured bond.
Hickory Police are still looking for Marcus Deontae Williams, who has outstanding warrants for Assault with Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury and Possession of Firearm by Felon.
“Neither the July 29 or August 3 incident were random, nor are the two believed to be related. However, any shooting incident could poses a potential risk to bystanders. We encourage anyone with information to contact police,” Chief Thurman Whisnant.
