A portion of Interstate 40 at Rock Barn Road in Catawba County was closed for a time on Monday after A tractor trailer truck hauling over 40,000 of meat swerved to avoid slow traffic, ran up an embankment and struck a bridge. The driver sustained minor injuries and no other vehicles were involved.
