One person was transported to the hospital Monday morning following a house fire on Miller Bridge Road in Burke County. A woman who lived at the home is expected to be ok but suffered smoke inhalation. A cat was also found injured and treated by animal control on the scene before being taken to a vet. Several departments responded to the fire which caused very heavy damage to the home.
