Church Break In Suspect Arrested

 The suspect in two local church break ins is in custody after he was arrested on another charge in Mt. Holly.  30 year old Jordan Lee Abee from Lincolnton was arrested by Mt. Holly police after allegedly attempted to rob woman.  Burke County investigators had released pictures from surveillance cameras from the church break ins which helped identify Abee.  Break ins were reported at El Beth Baptist Church and Brookwood Baptist Church in Morganton.   Burke County warrants were issued for Abee for 2 counts of Felony Breaking and Entering to a Place of Worship. Abee was still in jail in Gaston County Thursday.  He will be brought to the Burke County magistrate’s office and served with the two Burke County warrants.
