Authorities say Meyers has been located and is safe.
The Burke County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate a missing 13-year-old. Wyatt Brian Meyers was last seen at his home on Windy Woods Drive, Morganton, on August 23, 2020 around 2:00 A.M. It is unknown what Wyatt was wearing at the time he left his residence. At this time, it is believed that Wyatt is not in danger but authorities do need to confirm his whereabouts. Anyone with any information regarding Wyatt’s whereabouts is asked to call the Burke County Sheriff’s Office at 828-438-5500.
