One person was shot Monday afternoon in Hickory. It happened in the area of 16th St. NE near the Cubbard Express convenience store. The victim went inside the store to get help after being shot. Police say the victim appeared to suffer a non-life-threatening gunshot to the shoulder area. The investigation is continuing and no arrests have been made.
