3 Covid related deaths occurred in Catawba County and 2 more in Caldwell County as of Thursday. There are currently 92 hospitalized in Catawba, 43 hospitalizations in Caldwell and 24 in Burke County hospitals. Caldwell UNC Health Care received the first vaccine earlier this week and began vaccinating employees on Wednesday.
