Two Burke County residents died after a 2 vehicle wreck Sunday night. Glenda Britton Kelly 84, and Daphne Kincaid Beam 58, both passed away after injuries sustained in the crash. According to the NC Highway Patrol, the vehicle being driven by Kelly crossed the center line colliding with Beam on Hwy 181 near St Mary’s Church Rd in Morganton around 615pm. There were no other passengers in the vehicles.
