The Burke County Health Department has announced everyone 16 and older interested in a Covid 19 vaccine is now eligible. Appointments can be made by calling 828-764-9150. Currently there is 1 person hospitalized with coronavirus in Burke County, 13 in Catawba County and 7 hospitalizations in Caldwell County.
