The clubhouse building at the old Quaker Meadows Golf Course will be burned down on Saturday. The Morganton Department of Public Safety will be training at the property at 826 N Green St. It will last most of the day and many other departments will take part in the training. Smoke will be noticeable and the public is asked to avoid the area as much as possible.
