Public Utilities will be closing Sixth Street NW, between Twelfth Avenue NW (Geitner Rd) and Thirteenth Avenue Place NW, for infrastructure installation. The work will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will last until 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 5, and again on Wednesday, October 6. The work will happen at night when traffic is at a minimum. The roadway will reopen each morning, but there may be gravel and/or steel plates in the roadway. Please use caution while driving in this area.
