A fugitive from Kentucky was arrested in Lenoir. Helena Jerry Pappas 56, faces felony fugitive warrants from another state. She is wanted in Callowy County Kentucky. Pappas was placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under no bond. No court dates were listed.
A court date is set for today for Franklin Laquin Wilkerson 43. He faces felony traffic in methamphetamine among other drug charges and an assault inflicting serious injury charge. He was jailed under a $30,000 bond. An additional court date is set for November 22nd.
