A chop shop charge was brought against a Hudson man. Joshua Lee Smart 34, faces felony counts of breaking and entering, larceny of a motor vehicle and chop shop activity among other charges. He was placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under a $70,000 secured bond.
A man from Gastonia is facing drug charges in Catawba County. Christian Chase Parker 22, faces trafficking marijuana along with several other charges including reckless driving with wanton disregard. He was placed in jail in the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $46,000 bond. Court dates are today and November 10th.
