A Lenoir man faces common law robbery charges.  Denard Anthony Blakeney 35, also faces assault on a handicapped person.  The Hudson Police Dept made the arrest.  Secured bond was set at $100,000.

Multiple Charges For Hudson Woman

Heroin Arrest

The Lenoir Police Dept made a heroin arrest.  Carlos Nolasco Guiterrez 44,  of Lenoir was charged with traffic in heroin or opium.  Secured bond was set at $250,000 according to the Lenoir Police.

Celebration of Life

A celebration of life service was held yesterday for Gary Sanders.  He was a retired firefighter in Lenoir.  A processional let to the event with fire trucks and members of the Red Knights Firefighters Motorcycle Club.  Sanders
