If you have ever wanted to drive a school bus, now is your chance to learn how! The next Burke County Public Schools school bus driver class will be held Monday, Sept. 9, Tuesday, Sept. 10 and Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Central Office, located at 700 E. Parker Road, Morganton. The starting pay is $15.34 an hour and there are immediate openings for the following schools: Drexel, East Middle, Freedom, Mountain View and Table Rock.
