In support of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, the Senior Center is hosting a special program about Elder Abuse.  Christina Franklin, Ombudsman with Western Piedmont Council of Governments, will be presenting this program at 3:00pm.  She will give tips on how to recognize elder abuse and how to report it. It is also “WEAR PURPLE DAY” in support of elder abuse awareness.  Anyone attending the program who is wearing purple gets a prize! Please register by calling (828) 758-2883.
