Communities In Schools of Caldwell County (CIS Caldwell) is a locally designed prevention/intervention program serving adolescents and their families. These community-driven solutions use best practices to provide dynamic, up-to-date programs for teens. Our programs work: last year, we delivered direct services to students at 7 local schools, serving 450 students and boasted a 98% percent graduation rate (among an at-risk population!).The funds raised by our benefit auction will sponsor innovative programs that not only help students stay in school, but also help them prepare for life. This year CIS Caldwell providing career programming to better prepare high school students to research career opportunities in their communities. This program will better prepare high school students to look to the future to answer that one big question, “what do you want to be when you grow up?”We hope you will join us at our 31st Anniversary celebration on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Cedar Rock Country Club in Lenoir, N.C. Tickets are $60 per person and can be purchased from a CIS Caldwell board member or in the CIS Caldwell main office.
