We are hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 with the mobile blood unit from Community Blood Center of the Carolinas, now known as OneBlood from:

8:30am – 12pm                 at the Human Resource Center (Health Dept & DSS Building)        700 East Parker Road

2pm – 5pm                         at the Sheriff’s Office                                                                             150 Government Dr.

All donors will receive a FREE OneBlood T-shirt and a wellness checkup including blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse and cholesterol screening if interested.  If you are interested in donating blood for those within our region that are in need, please contact Lisa Moore at 828-764-9218 or by email at lisa.moore@burkenc.org  to make an appointment.

Please make sure that you bring your ID with you for your appointment.  Also, please spread the word to your friends, family, church congregation, etc so we have a tremendous turnout.  Thanks for your help and support.
