Help Wanted Finding High Speed Chase Suspect

The Burke County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect who led police on a high-speed chase Friday morning. Charles Bynum Hughes of Hickory started the chase after a deputy tried to pull him over. The News Herald Reports Hughes ended the chase by jumping out of his car and fleeing on foot.  Hughes Anyone with information on Hughes is asked to call the Burke County Sheriff’s Office.
