The Caldwell County sheriff’s deputy who was shot in the line of duty this summer met President Donald Trump in Charlotte on Friday Night. Deputy Jordan Sherrill along with another deputy was at the Charlotte Airport when Air Force One landed. The News Topic Reports Sherrill returned to work Saturday and is expected to return to patrol duty in about a month.
