A shooting was reported Tuesday night at the Mountain View Center on Highway 127 South in Catawba County. Authorities believe one person was shot inside an SUV on Huffman Farm Road and drove to the location on Highway 127. WSOCTV reports the victim, who was shot in the leg, was taken to a hospital and the shooter fled the scene.
