A fatal shooting is under investigation in Hickory. Marty Lee Brown 59, was found unresponsive by his wife who said she was asleep in another room when 2 unknown women came and told her Brown had been injured. The women then fled. Officers found him deceased with gunshot wounds at the 8th Ave Dr SE residence. The women were identified and not considered suspects.
