The Burke County courthouse was evacuated after a bomb threat Tuesday just before noon. A call came in alleging a bomb would go off or a “big fight” would occur. The building was searched and the State Bureau of Investigation’s bomb sniffing dog cleared the building for everyone to return at 245 pm.
