An attempted ATM theft is under investigation. Hickory Police found a stolen Ford F250 with a logging chain connected to the ATM at BB&T / Suntrust Bank on N Center St. Two males were seen fleeing the parking lot around 3:51 am on Wednesday as officers arrived. If anyone has information in this case, they are asked to call Hickory Police at 328-5551.
A Lenoir man is facing charges in Hickory. 30 year old Jordan O’Neal Shade was arrested for felony possession of stolen goods and possession of a stolen motor vehicle. He was released under an $8,000 bond. No new court dates were listed after November 30th.
